AP Pattern Viewer

Faces are named F (face, toward the floor when installed) and B (back). Edges are E0 (the port edge), then E90, E180, E270 counterclockwise when you look at the face with E0 at the bottom. What one full-sphere session produces: 12 roll planes × 36 turntable steps plus the flat-cradle horizon ring, shown as a 3D pattern cloud, a heat map and polar cuts. Drag the sphere to turn it; hover any dot or cell for its reading.

Simulated pattern. These numbers are made up to show the layout, not measured.
Looking at the face. E0 is the Ethernet port edge; the others follow counterclockwise.
As installed. Every view uses this orientation, whatever the AP's position on the rig.

Every roll plane unrolled: around the AP left to right, floor at the bottom, ceiling at the top.

Polar cut

Dots on sphereEach dot is one averaged reading. They bunch at the floor and ceiling where the roll planes meet and spread out around the horizon, where the flat-cradle ring fills in.
Heat mapThe quickest way to spot nulls and compare bands or APs. Same data, no rotating needed.
Polar cutAny single roll plane or the horizon ring, in the same format as vendor datasheets, so you can overlay theirs.
